Guardian reports rapper's surrender on Louisiana charges

CASE OUTCOME NOTE: This 2017 case was ultimately dismissed in 2019 after Mystikal spent 18 months in jail when a second grand jury declined to indict. Charges were dropped by Caddo Parish District Attorney.

International publication The Guardian reported on the legal proceedings following rapper Mystikal's 2017 arrest in Louisiana for sexual assault allegations. Attorney Roy Maughan Jr., who represented the entertainer in related matters, addressed questions about legal representation.
