Complex litigation clears path for 100+ jobs, affordable housing

WBRZ reported on the East Baton Rouge Metro Council's condemnation reversal for Brandywine Apartments after City Holdings manager Roy Maughan Jr. satisfied outstanding debts and advanced redevelopment plans. Maughan's $45 million Sherwood Oaks project would transform the blighted property into quality affordable senior housing with modern amenities while creating over 100 construction, administrative, and service jobs for the community.
